About Commercial Dance with Ezra
Commercial Dance With Ezra was created to help fill a gap in the Albury–Wodonga dance scene: a lack of adult-centred dance classes that felt challenging, current, and inclusive.
With a deep passion for commercial dance, Ezra wanted to create a space where dancers didn’t have to “age out” of training. A place where older and returning dancers could stay connected to dance without pressure, judgement, or outdated expectations.
Classes focus on high-energy choreography, musicality, and finding your own personal style. Whether you’re returning to dance, looking for a challenge, or just wanting to move for the joy of it, Commercial Dance With Ezra is about showing up authentically and dancing with intention.

About Ezra
Ezra is a choreographer and educator dedicated to creating a vibrant, high-standard dance community in the Albury-Wodonga region. With a technical foundation spanning Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Street styles, Ezra’s approach to dance is rooted in versatility, passion, and a deep respect for the craft.
His professional perspective was shaped significantly during full-time training at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance in Melbourne. Immersed in the commercial scene and learning from Australia’s leading choreographers, Ezra gained a clear vision of the kind of space he wanted to lead. He recognised the need for a dance environment that balances a professional challenge with genuine inclusivity.
Through Commercial Dance With Ezra, he has turned that vision into a reality. Ezra has created a space specifically for adult dancers of all backgrounds and goals. Whether you are dancing for recreation, looking to stay connected to your passion, or preparing for a professional course, Ezra’s classes offer a genuinely supportive environment where every dancer is encouraged to grow.
Ezra is also a key creative voice in local theatre. He has choreographed and been involved in numerous productions for the Albury Wodonga Theatre Company, including their highly anticipated 2026 production of & Juliet.
For Ezra, dance is about creating a culture that is as welcoming as it is ambitious. He is committed to ensuring that every dancer who walks into his studio feels seen, challenged, and inspired to grow.

Our classes are designed for adults 18+
We currently offer group classes for Tap, Street, Contemporary and Commercial Jazz. Private lessons are available in other styles.
Wear something comfortable that you can move freely in. Runners for Street and Commercial Jazz, barefoot, socks or foot-thongs for Contemporary.
Only Performance classes learn a full routine each term, which is why there are no drop-in options. Open classes sometimes learn a short, fun combination during the lesson, only for that lesson.
Drop-in/casual options are available for "Open" classes only, subject to availability. If a class is completely full with term students, no casual tickets will be available.
Casual tickets are $29 for standard classes
As a general rule we recommend choosing the beginner-level Commercial Jazz if you are unsure.
If you have a strong background in Jazz or Street technique, choose Inter/Adv Commercial Jazz.
LGBTQI+ Inclusion
Commercial Dance With Ezra acknowledges dance as a space that hasn’t always been safe for everyone. We are proudly queer & trans owned and actively committed to creating a safe, affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ dancers, including Brotherboys, Sistergirls & Rainbow Mob.
